It's grown from an AOL account and Word doc to listserv web platforms and an entire community of users. 25 Years providing a valuable tool that draws our arts community together. 8,000+ Subscribers who check it out daily - and more users all the time. 0 Dollars to use. LINDA EISENSTEIN ANGLE MAGAZINE

“In…towns like Chicago, Seattle, & D.C., the dailies and the alternative weeklies make an effort to cover the small fry, with multiple stringers writing capsule reviews to ensure openings are highlighted and companies get coverage. Not here: our start-ups wither in a virtual media blackout. If it weren’t for Fred Sternfeld’s now-indispensable NEOPAL listserv, most of us wouldn’t even know they’d happened.”
CHRISTINE HOWEY CLEVELAND SCENE

“If Fred Sternfeld were known only for the shows he directs, his impact here would still be considerable. In recent years, he has expertly helmed classics, obscure gems, and musicals on virtually every stage in town. But since 1998, when he founded the Northeast Ohio Performing Arts List (NEohioPAL) – Sternfeld has been bringing together the region’s arts intelligentsia as only chardonnay and cheese previously could.”
BOB ABELMAN AUSTIN CHRONICLE
(formerly with the Cleveland Jewish News)

"Neohiopal is not only a source of valuable insight and information about the theater community; as an accessible and all-inclusive voice for Northeast Ohio artists and artisans, it helps create a sense of community."
